Guest Artists
The MFA Program conducts an active Visiting Artist and Speakers Program which is supported by SOFAM's Visiting Artist Trust Fund and annual applications for funding from the Canada Council for the Arts. The program presents a great range of inspiring and thought provoking public presentations by distinguished national and international contemporary artists and art experts. Individual studio visits with graduate students are scheduled to follow the public presentations. Visitors are chosen to best reflect the diverse and cross-disciplinary nature of the graduate program; the various approaches that are presented offer indispensable insight and inspiration for students at crucial stages in their own artistic development.
